Pedal for Kids: 100-Mile Challenge

On the weekend of May 9th, 2026, we are excited to launch Pedal for Kids: 100-Mile Challenge, a community fundraising initiative in support of our players, programs, and the future of youth soccer in our community.

This year’s ride will take place over two days—Saturday and Sunday—with 50 miles ridden each day, as Coach Fernando completes the full 100-mile challenge.

This event is more than just a ride. It is an opportunity to raise awareness for our foundation and officially kick off our 2026 giving campaign, with the goal of generating support for our programs, strengthening our community, and most importantly, creating opportunities for the kids we serve.

If you have ever been coached by or interacted with Coach Fernando, you already know the passion and commitment he brings to every player. This challenge reflects who he is—someone who goes above and beyond to make sure every child has the opportunity to play, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

Together, every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps ensure that no child is left on the sidelines.

The Mission

Coach Fernando will be riding his road bike 100 miles over 2 days  (starting and ending at Central Park, Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, CA) with one purpose in mind: to raise awareness and funds that directly support the children and families of Fremont Rush.
